PJ Blue Mountains Specialist!
The most solid 5 star rating ever. What a fantastic day we had with Peter being our driver and guide.
We are a family of four (two adults and... read more two kids under 10 years old) visiting Australia.
The tour was absolutely brilliant- we first visited a zoo where we were the first visitors of the day and therefore had fantastic opportunities to feed the wallabies and the kangaroos. We had our photo taken with the koalas and Peter was there with us throughout to help and take photos of the most special moments. We saw many other animals, too that are native to Australia. The kids absolutely loved every moment of it.
Then we headed to the blue mountains where we had the whole package of experience- the breathtaking views, the scenic rail, cable car, etc. Peter had purchased the tickets in advance for us, which meant we didn’t need to wait anywhere.
Wherever we went Peter also knew the perfect time so we ended up visiting the places in the less busy times.
We finished the day in Leura, which was so sweet- I wish we could have stayed maybe 2 hours instead of one (this is probably my only suggestion for improvement).
Then we were driven back to the ferry that took us to circular quay- lovely ferry ride. And the pass that we got given (opal) was valid for public transportation in Sydney so we didn’t need to spend money on our bus ride home.
I can only praise the service. Peter was funny, took lots of photos of us, but was not intrusive, which he then shared with us, was knowledgable and drove very safely. Thanks, Peter!

Best tour ever!!! Peter is the best, number one! He takes care of you the whole trip and all the Zoo/Park staff know him, so you get VIP access and... read more service. Oh yeah, Peter takes pics and videos on his iPhone and Airdrops all of them to you. He is the best photographer. We are soooo glad we booked PJ Tours with Peter!
My wife and I were booked with 2 other couples (so 6 total). We had a blast sharing laughs and stories.
Peter first took us to Featherdale Wildlife Park. We got to enter before they opened, so we were literally the only ones there for about 30 minutes. Koalas were up and jumping from branch to branch. Fed the Wallabies and Kangaroos.
Drove next to Echo Point to view the Three Sisters, grabbed a coffee and had a restroom break.
We then went to Blue Mountain to ride the Cableways and Railways. Tony’s timing gets you around when little-to-no other tour groups are around. He had our access bands already, so no waiting in lines. We ate lunch earlier than other tour groups, so no waiting either. Walked the valley and Peter checked on us to ensure we were okay and on time.
Enjoyed a view of Cahill’s Lookout next. Another great picture scene.
Stopped by a cute town called Leura. Grabbed a coffee, biscuit, and walked the shops. Had a fun time getting to know the other four in our group.
Last stop was our choice. We chose to view another valley super high up. Fantastic pics!
Our trip ended with taking a RiverCat (ferry) from Olympic Park Wharf to Circular Quay. Oh so fun!
Hotel pick up was at 0710 and got back to Circular Quay at 1750.
